FAQ

Do I really need therapy?

Do you need running shoes to run a marathon? Probably not. But having the right shoes can make the journey easier and kinder on you. Therapy is the same: not a requirement, but a real help.

What happens in a typical session?

Every session is tailored to you. Using evidence-based approaches, we work through what is troubling you at a pace you set. There’s no script you have to follow.

I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t work. How do I know this will?

You don’t know for certain, and that’s understandable. What research consistently shows is that the fit between you and your therapist matters more than the method. Finding the right therapist is like finding the right architect for your home: if the first one wasn’t right, it doesn’t mean the house can’t be built.
